These films inspired the style and world of Neon Bleed,' John expressed, bursting with enthusiasm at the question of his risky choice to take on such a plot for his debut feature film.
The writer, producer, and director John Capone shared about the major obstacles faced in filmmaking. With budget constraints and limited resources, the new filmmakers are challenged with making it possible in less time, money and with a fairly new cast. John was keen on keeping the crew as small as possible to avoid overspending and searched extensively to find the right actors for the film.

Necessity often brings out the best creative side of a person, precisely what happened with the team Neon Bleed. We storyboarded to make sure we had the shots worked out ahead of time to make our days and found unique solutions to story challenges that ended up lending to the contained tone and focused point-of-view of the main character,' added John while walking the local media through the journey of making the film. He and his dream team managed to produce an award-winning film on a budget of under $200,000 in just 15 days.
John, in particular, is interested in exploring the frailty of humans as they strive for power and wealth, their propensity for dysfunction, and the possibility of change in light of the dynamic nature of the world around them. John revealed that director Martin Scorsese was a major inspiration for him.
A simple, nature-loving guy in his personal life, John has an exciting line of projects coming up that he has promised to live up to the audience's expectations. 'I know the standard has been set which to be quite honest concerns me too, but I hope we can go big. I am working on the next feature and also writing a $15 Million contained Sci-Fi Thriller with a writing partner that we're aiming to pitch to companies this year,' John shared.
