"The Day I Found a Girl in a Trash" viewers were left teary-eyed at the heartbreaking story of Szymon and Blue, who met at the lowest point in their lives eventually becoming the former's reason to live. Michal Krzywicki and Dagmara Brodziak gave great performances as the lead characters in the science fiction movie set in a futuristic Poland. Without saying a word, Blue's portrayal as a defenseless victim of a ruthless criminal justice system stood out for viewers who wanted to see more of her. Dagmara, the young talent dynamo on the rise, is an actress to watch in the near future. The film is available on digital platforms.

The actress, who has also co-written the film, underwent months of training to absorb the naivety and novice traits of the character that required her to have the mind of a newborn baby in the natural stage phase with no subconscious and maturity. 'It took me several months of working with BUTOH dance coach Wojtek Matejko and an acting coach Dyba Lach to transform myself into Blue; the character had very specific and particular requirements to fit into,' Dagmara Brodziak revealed while explaining the difficulty in playing Blue.

The high-flier performance was hailed by the film critics who reviewed Dagmara's performance among the few best that will be remembered for a long time. She perfected the expressions and timing, understanding that the mute character had to be communicated via facial gestures and body language. About shaving her head in the film, the actress shared that there was some hesitation she showed at the beginning, 'the shaving head part was very challenging for me, especially on a personal level. While I felt that it served the character totally, the process it put me through after the shooting was very difficult for me,' Dagmara expressed emotionally.

When asked about her favorite scene in the film, Dagmara immediately referenced the opening scene, when Szymon first finds Blue, and she extended special thanks to her co-star, co-writer, and director Michal Krzywicki. The two have an enthusiastic working relationship and also get along well personally. When asked about Michal, she shared, 'This is the greatest gift for me to be able to share this artistic path with him. I felt connected to him more than ever before and what is the most important in my opinion in director-actor relationship - I felt safe with him. I hope that we can work together again and again and again.'

The actress credits the character of Blue that has taught her the real essence of life is to appreciate and be grateful for the littlest things in life; she acknowledged the hard work of their dream team, dedication and determination of the crew, which made it all possible to shoot in difficult weather conditions on an Ocean. With a limited budget and resources, the entire team came together to pull off the film's shooting.

Currently, Dagmara is reading scripts and working on her next poetic sci-fi drama, which is going to be titled "Why God Doesn't Play with Time." The film will be shot in Bangkok, Thailand, which is a popular destination for tourists that she also loves.
